Andarza Law Office

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated October 7, 2026

1. Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, and message. The office receives the information you choose to submit so it can consider your inquiry and communicate with you. The form is not a marketing subscription, account registration, or payment service.

2. Encryption and email delivery

Your browser encrypts the name, email address, subject, and message before submitting them over HTTPS. The website’s mail handler relays the encrypted contents to the office using Resend. The office uses its private decryption key to read them; the website is configured with only the public encryption key.

Email providers process the encrypted message and delivery information, including the office’s sending and receiving addresses. Your submitted email address and subject stay inside the encrypted contents rather than becoming the email’s sender or subject line. Resend’s handling of information is described in its privacy policy.

This encryption protects the contents sent through the form. It does not hide connection or delivery information, protect a compromised device, or automatically encrypt subsequent replies sent to your email address.

3. Technical information and abuse prevention

Website infrastructure receives connection information when you visit or submit a request, such as an IP address and browser request details. The application uses temporary in-memory IP-based rate limits and records of message identifiers, encrypted-message hashes, and submission results to prevent abuse and duplicate sends. These records do not contain the readable form contents.

The contact handler does not write message contents to an application database or enable email debug logging. Vercel hosts the production website, and hosting and email providers may keep their own operational or delivery records under their policies. Vercel describes its handling of information in its privacy policy.

4. Browser storage and the embedded map

The website does not install first-party marketing cookies or advertising pixels. When you select a language, the site saves that preference in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data settings.

The footer includes an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address, browser information, and other request data and may use cookies or similar technologies. This is separate from the encrypted contact form and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Website analytics

The production website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic and which pages visitors use. It collects page addresses, referring pages, visit times, filtered URL query parameters, approximate location, and device and browser information for aggregated statistics.

Web Analytics does not use cookies to identify visitors. It uses a hash derived from the incoming request, and its visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. The website does not send contact-form fields or encrypted messages as analytics events. More information is available in Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation.

6. Retention and confidentiality

Delivered inquiries may remain in the office’s email, local records, and service-provider backups. Their retention depends on the handling of the inquiry and applicable legal or professional obligations. Temporary application records have limited validity and are cleared when the application restarts.

Applicable confidentiality duties toward clients and prospective clients continue to apply. This policy does not waive those duties.

7. Questions and requests

For privacy questions or requests concerning information you submitted, contact Andarza Law Office at 512-322-9800 or through the website contact form. The office may need to confirm your identity before discussing an inquiry, and legal or professional obligations may affect what information can be provided or deleted.

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
